Hi, I’m Faith Masonius — founder of FM Media.
My love for content creation started long before it was a business. It began with a computer, a simple Photo Booth camera, and a desire to capture moments I never wanted to forget.
I’ve always been the person holding the camera — recording the laughter, the behind-the-scenes moments, the everyday memories that often go unnoticed. Over time, I realized those weren’t just random clips. They were stories.
Growing up in a family of ten taught me the value of capturing chaos, love, and connection. Life was loud, full, emotional — and I never wanted to lose those moments. That instinct to document everything slowly turned into something more meaningful.
As a Division I basketball player at the University of Maryland, I experienced both the highest highs and the hardest setbacks — including injury, identity shifts, and learning who I was beyond the game. I began sharing my life on social media — the good and the bad — not for perfection, but for connection. I shared my mental health journey, life after college athletics, the uncertainty of finding a career, my love for makeup, cooking, family, friends, and everyday life.
I wanted people to know they weren’t alone.
Through that vulnerability, I discovered the true power of storytelling.
